Change Your Thinking Now And You`ll Live In Utopia
Both the planet you live on and the life you live needs to change if you are to prosper fully and the great thing is whether you realize it or not you hold the key to it all
The environment will change but will we?
I wondered that today as I contemplated the rest of my lifetime.
After all, if planet earth is to sustain itself past my lifetime then it’s going to have to be run in a completely different way than how it has been run in the past. Because of the previous generation, serious problems have resulted in our world. And that has left it to the current people inhabiting the planet to sort it out.
Underlying problems exist and are destroying our home.
The damage done to the coral reefs in our oceans means that the swimming creatures do not have their equivalent of the land’s rain forest to maintain their enriched lifestyles beneath the water. Then there is the ice in the arctic that is melting at an unbelievable rate. And let’s get started on the amount of deforestation that has occurred and how that’s harming the planet like never before.
All of this and other things combined mean that planet earth and its inhabitants are set for a gloomy future.
And this is recognized by many scientists, politicians, and younger protestors too. They realize the extent of damage that we have allowed to happen on earth and are determined to make us reverse the pattern.
At first glance at the data and graphs, it appears as if we would have major difficulty in bucking this trend. However, the great thing is if we get the ball rolling on altering how we do business then things will change in our favor.
That’s because nature has an incredible way of healing itself.
So long as we direct it on its best course the natural way of coral reefs growth, the forests development, and the freezing ice will understand its role in the biodiversity of the planet and align itself with a steady escalation that will benefit us all in our lives.
Then the data regarding the planet will look prosperous.
Because the planet knows that we have the power to change as it’s clever that way.
Yet it’s the same for ourselves.
If we want to change our individual lives for the better then we must first decide to change it and then commit that change for good.
Because no one else is going to wave a magic wand and transport us into a better life.
For us to lose weight, find a better career, or develop healthier relationships then we must do the work first. Once we do things will begin to happen for the better.
Now I`m not saying that it’s easy but I am saying that it will be a sustainable journey of improvement if we commit to the improvement over the longer term.
As it will take time.
For if you`ve neglected your body for years and it is now carrying excess weight then you can’t expect it to change suddenly and shed that weight and then be expected to keep that off easily.
It doesn’t work like that.
Sure you may watch a television program where the contestants will be monitored each week where they are encouraged to lose weight and shape up. There they may become trimmer for each episode you see them but this improvement tends to stop quite often once the TV series runs its course.
Because at the end of the show the contestants don’t usually feel as encouraged to continue their healthier lifestyle as fewer people are watching them do it.
It’s the same for trying to better your career.
There are lots of young people who are eager to leave high school and go to college to study for their undergraduate degrees. Since this type of transition has become the norm in many western nations its progression seems inevitable for many who finish high school. And from there a good degree is achieved and a resultant job offer is accepted as the young adult needs to pay back their student loan.
But from there few climb up and up the corporate ladder to the very top or return to full-time education to continue bettering themselves.
And although the very nature of learning more means you make more growth-motivated decisions in the future most people plateau at a very young age and live a life of mediocrity in their day jobs for decades after.
Many of the same people suffer a similar fate within their personal relationships too.
They find someone of the same age range, who comes across as having similar outlooks in general, and they couple up with them for a time. Before they know it this relationship results in marriage or a financial agreement that lasts many years. But quite often one or both partners become stale in their attitude to growing the partnership and can become despondent about where the relationship is leading them in the future.
And from there separating and divorce rates rise.
Yet the solution to your health, career, and relationships is from one single source. And it’s the same source that will help heal our planet too.
And that is about accepting that our current thinking must change if we are to live the life we were put here on earth to have.
So instead of relying on others to help, you must take control of your life and change it for the better.
Because if we all did this we’d live in our personal bliss on a planet of utopia.
