Positive Thinking About Money
Although it's easy for a rich person to say you can think yourself to wealth yet in reality, you won’t ever be able to have any money unless you think positively about it all the time
No matter how you think you`ll get a result.
Whether that’s a positive or negative way of thinking your actions will mimic your thoughts and specific results will come.
The real question is:
“What do you want the results to be?”
Although you may think you want things to go well for you there may not be a fully committed you who believe they want this positive result. Now you may think that’s ironic but let me explain.
There’s no doubt that everyone wants some form of positive action to occur for them now and then in life.
After all, we all have bills to pay. And unless things go well for us from time to time we`ll never be able to pay what we owe. If we can’t pay our dues we will become poor and that’s when we can land into big trouble in life.
But there’s a step above that too.
Because there are plenty of people who want to earn money and do earn a little but then put a ceiling on their thoughts as to how much they can earn. They tell themselves they deserve a certain amount of income and then they strive to earn that. Once they get there they are content with it and feel they`ve reached their peak.
Yet there may be others in their industry who are earning a lot more and they may know that person is no better than them at producing the service they both do.
They wonder why they are earning a lot more than them, but at the end of the day they accept they`ll never earn that amount. Because they feel they don’t deserve this amount of income.
But that doesn’t make much sense.
I mean if two people have similar skills and put in the same time and energy into something and one is earning a lot more than another person then surely there’s a rational reason why this is?
Sure the person who is earning more may have better guidance, marketing, investment strategies, and so on but if both people have simpler knowledge around these things why is there such a difference in income?
Many times this comes down to our beliefs.
If you believe you deserve to be paid more then you get more.
If you don’t believe you deserve to be paid more, guess what?
You don’t get paid more.
It is as simple as that?
Not entirely, but you need to truly believe you deserve a better income to gain one.
Because if you don’t you`re thinking negatively.
You`re avoiding the positive possibilities of earning more income to appear in your life. I`m not saying it’s going to be easy to switch from earning less to earning more but I am saying you need to address how you think about money to start getting into that more positive mentality around it all.
Because too many people simply accept they don’t deserve more.
And this is a negative belief system.
They do the sums and figure that once they can pay the rent, do the grocery shopping, have a few social nights out here and there, pay for their car and its running costs, and maybe take a holiday now and then that’s all they should hope for.
But maybe they are wrong.
I’m not saying that type of lifestyle doesn’t sound good, it does.
But there can be more.
And in having more you`ve got to start with how you think before you can receive it.
As it’s your subconscious brain that’s working against you so if you think there are limitations on what you can earn then there will be. Because if you truly know others do not have skills as good as you then it’s you that is pulling yourself back from earning like they do in their life.
Your subconscious brain has been coded from when you were younger into believing what it has been told.
You may have been concentrating on your homework and your parents may have argued over money in the background or you may have watched a TV show with your favorite character who kept losing jobs or money and as you grew you accepted this limitation.
It became embedded in your thoughts around money.
Because this is what our brains do. They build thoughts around associated thoughts and memories and the more often we think about a certain topic our brains access those pre-wired thoughts that are molded with subconscious associated thinking.
However, consciously you may not believe that to be true.
Looking back at that time when your parents were arguing you may now know as an adult they could have managed their money better. And you may remember back to the favorite character from the TV show now and know the made-up drama would not be complete were it not for the imagination of the scriptwriter who painted the misfortune of the character to lose money here and there in the show.
But that’s not enough to turn around your pre-programmed subconscious thoughts and limitations about earning money which lurks in the background of your subconscious. And they rear their ugly head every time you feel short on a penny or two.
Because anything you`ve learned years before has been wired into your brain and will guide you to whatever action you`ll take around money now and in the future.
And if you`re not earning what you can that’s a negative action.
To change you need to think more positively about this topic.
You need to accept you must change your subconscious thinking. In doing so you have to delete your fears and increase your feelings towards the possibilities of not only what can be done but what will happen.
So rather than doing what most people do and accepting a negative outcome change your mind, challenge yourself to re-learn, and watch how positive thinking can lead you to a better way in life.
