American businessman Bo Bennett man once said that visualization was like dreaming with a purpose.

And I agree with him.

Because there are many people out there who don’t have a purpose and so even if they see things happening it’s useless unless they know what to do with it. And from a purpose comes action. Then from action, things change.

But of course, not all good things come from actions, but good outcomes come from making the best actions.

As the truth is you have got to see what you want to do and then you must go out and do it.

It all sounds so simple, right?

But it is that simple.

As in reality, your brain seeks out the images in real life that you demand as your purpose and then draws that image towards you so that it’s big and powerful in your view.

Think of when you play a fun game of cards. There’s one game called matching cards. It works when you sprinkle the cards facing down on a table at random positions. In this game, the faces of these cards are duplicated in one other card in the deck and the purpose of the game is to pick up two identical cards in a go by trying to see where the matching cards are.

From there you access your memory as to which cards your opponents have chosen in the past.

But what if you could have an extra layer of vision coming into this game? Wouldn’t it be easier to play the game as you`d have an extra capacity to see things before your opponents?

Of course, you would.

And this would mean you’d be able to choose the correct cards more often and match them up effectively. More often than not you`d then win more often.

Pretty cool, eh!

Yet this can happen for you in life.

You can maximize your brain’s capacity to bring things into your realm and then have that opportunity presented to you.

Now I know that sounds a little fluffy but there’s hard science attached to it all. It comes using the reticular activating system of your brain.

This system allows you to hone in on what you truly want to see in your present. So how you prime it to see what you want is extremely important because after all, our brains can only functionally do one thing at a time. This means that when you visualize correctly you are blocking out other images that are around your ideal image.

So the image you want is presented to you as if you`re in a big movie theatre.

And we all know that when we come back from a great movie then we often struggle to get these powerful images out of our mind’s eye. We can be overcome and these images can interrupt our dream that night. Then the next day we can go into school, college, or work and be intent on talking about it to all the people around us.

This happens because the images in the movie have consumed us.

Okay, I know what you’re thinking because when I`ve spoken about this before others have asked me that it’s not always that simple of an explanation. They`ve pointed out to me that when you`re in a movie theatre that it’s not only the images on the screen that have an impact on you. Instead, it’s the strong audio that is roaring from the movie screen.

And they are completely correct to say this.

Because audio is so impactful on the sensory areas of our brains too.

Mixed with the highly commanding visual moving images on screen the sound and the picture together enhance your experience as it draws from two primal senses of our brains. Yet when you exit the movie theatre and have a conversation with the friend that was with you, you`ll notice that you’re both recalling things in a different way from the movie. And that’s because there have been moments when each of you didn’t see things as accurately as they were presented on the screen.

As our brains will fill in gaps of what we thought we saw and heard even though we didn’t experience them in that way at all.

Such is the power of that 3-pound organ that’s between our ears!

So be warned and feed your brain with the correct images and do this consistently as well.

Once you do that your visualization will become a reality. And if it doesn’t happen straight away, after a few weeks or months then don’t worry because things sometimes take time to change.

But when they do change they will change in the way you most hoped and last for the length of time you wanted.

So the next time you close your eyes know that what’s there is a blank canvas for you to paint your future and then you will watch it come to you.
